Ismail Industries limited (CandyLand) is the largest confectionery manufacturer and exporter in Pakistan. It was incorporated as a public limited company on June 21,1988. It was listed on the Karachi and Lahore Stock Exchanges on July 1, 1989. It is the only company in the entire confectionery industry whose shares are listed on the two main stock exchanges of Pakistan. In Pakistan, only CandyLand has a complete setup of the most advanced and sophisticated technology on which all products are prepared in various assortments, sizes and combinations in different packing sizes and styles. There is continuing system of product improvement and innovation keeping in view the changing customer tastes and demands.At present the company has around 30% share in the total formal organized market which is mainly due to its advancement in product development, innovative marketing strategies and better sales and distribution setup.
